OK off to buy a new pc, in a rush so a or b,, or a better one you know. http://www.ebuyer.com/749684-stormforce-typhoon-vr-gaming-pc-7260-5198 http://www.ebuyer.com/749222-pc-specialist-vanquish-impact-xt-ii-gaming-pc-pcs-d965103 The first has a OC i7 6000K at 4 as opposed to a i7 6000 a 3.4 The second a 1080 as opposed to a 1070 So processor over gfx? or the other way round? Need to decide today as in a rush if you have a better idea do it now otherwise by mid afternon I just going with the first one.
Both options are a bit suboptimal. But i would go with the 1080 variant, this beauty is a beast. I run her with a i7-5820k @ 3.3 (cause you always can get a better cooling and overclock, but you cant overclock more cores). Both are doable systems, only thing that kinda sucks is both are using ddr4 with only 2 channels ...thats a bummer.
Well normally you run DDR4 as Quadchannel (I have 4x8gb on my board), but on the other hand my system is about 2k € selfcustomized so somewhere you need to have a disadvantage, and you can always later get the 2 new bars of ram. As i said quick decision go for the 1080 instead of overclocked cpu .
As I said by text, get the 1080 over the 1070, you won't notice the difference in CPU speed when just gaming, whereas you will notice the difference in GPU.
mmm not really, the 6700 i7 doesn't have quad channel support. In fact I don't even think Skylake in general has quad channel support. Plus in current games you'd only expect <1% performance gain with quad channel memory right now, and it should make no difference when it comes to the ability to overclock. Anyway, as the others have said right now GPU > CPU, and that second link seems strangely well priced for the spec (compared to most pre-built systems). You should just build it yourself, it only takes a couple of hours.
Yeah the second one is out of stock and any other prebuilt with a 1080 card is 2k no 1.3k,, too lazy to build, happy to pay. ordered it already anyways but yeah highlands don't get it until Thurs ><
My new PC since 2 weeks Sent the GTX 1060 3GB back, and traded for the GTX 1060 6GB for +-€30 Can play all games in ultra in 1920x1080
